Let me begin by saying “THANK YOU!” Thank you so much for your generosity in answering the call to replenish our FBG Food Pantry. We had a tremendous response, and now, we are able to help more families and individuals in our community. Jesus was intentional about feeding the hungry, and we want to follow His example.
You’ve likely heard me say that great days are ahead for FBG! I believe that God is going to lead us and shape us to make much of Him locally and to the ends of the earth. That said, we have a number of exciting local events on the horizon, and I hope you’ll be sure to invite friends, neighbors, family, and basically, anyone the Lord puts in your path.
Here is a reminder of what’s coming in April:
April 9 is Palm Sunday, when we’ll celebrate the Lord’s Supper and receive a special benevolence offering as you exit the worship center;
April 15, we’ll have our annual Easter Egg Hunt here at FBG beginning at 10am;
April 16 is Easter Sunday;
April 22 is our annual Sportsmen’s Dinner at FBG at 5pm. We’re excited to report that the world record whitetail deer will be on public display for the first time in Sumner County; and
April 29 is Square Fest in Gallatin.
See what I mean? There are lots of great opportunities for us to engage the community in the days ahead! Let’s show and share the love of Christ!
