Travis, his wife Jenna, and their three kiddos moved to Gallatin in June of 2016, and they love being here! Travis is originally from Greenville, SC, and Jenna is from Ft. Lauderdale. They first met in seminary in Louisville, KY, and they married after they graduated when the Lord allowed their paths to cross again. Travis and Jenna love the local church, and they both feel like First Gallatin is a loving and mission minded congregation. When not in the office, Travis can be found hanging out with his family, tackling a new project at their home, working out, exploring Sumner County or cheering on a team that wears orange. 🙂

Nick joined the FBCG staff as Executive Pastor in January 2017. He and his wife, Kristin, have three children. Nick was born and raised in deep East Texas, and he and Kristin met serving on staff together at a LifeWay Centrifuge camp. Nick graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and the University of Tennessee College of Law. He has practiced law since 2005 and founded Compassionate Counsel (www.compassionatecounsel.org) in 2011. He is also pursuing his Master of Arts at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Nick has experienced the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in his own life. In addition to showing and sharing the Gospel with others, he desires to equip Christ-followers to live out the Gospel daily, to fulfill the Great Commission, and to make disciple-makers that make disciple-makers in their homes, communities, and to the ends of the earth.
John has been on staff with FBCG since April 2000. He was raised in Birmingham, AL and has previously served on church staff in Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. John and his wife Susan have 5 adult children and 8 grandchildren. They love to be involved in community activities, work on projects around their house, travel to visit their children and grandchildren, and time on the beach.
Savanna is originally from Cleveland, TN and joined the staff at FBCG in March 2017. She is a graduate of Lee University, and attained her degree in youth ministry and theology while there. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in family ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Her passion for ministry is to connect children and their families to Jesus – just like she came to Jesus as a child.
In her free time, Savanna likes to hike or run with her dog, Davy. She is also a huge sports fan (Go Vols and Preds) and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Jeremiah is from Dickson, Tennessee and came on board as our Youth Pastor in November 2019. He is a graduate from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He has served at LifeWay’s Centrifuge camps and he has taken opportunities throughout his college career to intern at several churches. In the summer of 2019, he spent two months serving God’s people in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He is currently seeking a Master of Arts from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeremiah has a passion to equip the next generation to carry the love and wonder of Jesus into this broken world. He wants everyone to know that Jesus is alive, and Jesus still has the power to save!!!
