Sunday School Director - Coordinates all Sunday School classes toward the overall objective of Sunday School
Sunday School Secretary - Responsible for record keeping, reports, and other communications for the entire Sunday School
Preschool
Division Director - Coordinates the work of the preschool departments and determines the organizational needs
Division Outreach Leader - Coordinates all reaching activities
Department Director - Responsible for planning, conducting and evaluating the work of the department and leads the Bible teaching sessions
Teacher - Works with the Preschool Department Director in Bible- learning experiences and ministers to preschoolers and their families assigned to them for ministry
Children
Division Director - Coordinates the work of the children-s departments and determines the organizational needs
Department Director - Coordinates all activities and guides the large group activities on Sunday morning
Teacher - Teaches a small group during Bible-study time and ministers to children and their families as assigned
Department Secretary - Maintains department attendance records
Student
Division Director - Coordinates the work of multiple departments, guiding them to set goals, and evaluate progress
Department Director - Guides the large group time during Sunday School
Department Outreach-Evangelism Leader - participates in personal visitation and group outreach events and equips all youth members and leaders in developing evangelism skills
Teacher - Teaches Bible study using a variety of teaching-learning approaches and prayerfully guides youth toward spiritual transformation
Department Secretary - Processes and maintains department records and compiles reports for department leaders
Adult
Division Director - Responsible for the total ministry of the Adult Division including planning, organizing, enlisting department directors, and evaluating the work
Department Director - Meets regularly with teachers for prayer, planning, and makes assignments related to evangelism and outreach, fellowship, ministry, and Bible teaching
Teacher - Leads a small group of adults in meaningful Bible study
Department Secretary - Processes and maintains general records for the department and compiles prospect information
Department Outreach Leader - Coordinates all evangelism and outreach activities of the department
Class Secretary - Provides vital support related to record keeping, reports, and other communications
Class Coordinator - Directs the overall work of the class, relieving the teacher of administrative responsibilities
New Member Mentors - Helps new members become involved in church ministries and activities
Discipleship Training
Adults - Opportunities for in-depth Bible study in specific areas of interest offered Wednesday and Sunday evenings
Students - Discipleship studies for students and/or students and their parents (such as Ripcord)
Children - Age-appropriate activities including Bible drill
Preschool - Age-appropriate Bible activities
Music and Worship
Celebration Choir - Adult choir leads in morning worship services and other presentations
Music Time - Preschool Choir
Music Makers - Younger Children-s Choir
Young Musicians - Older Children-s Choir
KREW (Kids aRe Experiencing Worship) - children learn to worship through guitar, recorder, drama, chimes, vocal, rhythm, and other tracks
Handbell Choir - Youth and adults
THE WHEEL - Through worship leaders and small group leaders, middle and high school students study Bible truths and fellowship with their peers on Wednesday evenings.
Missions
Mission Friends - Preschool mission group learns about and supports missions with activities such as the Good Samaritan Christmas shoe boxes.
Girls In Action (GA-s) - First - fifth grade girls learn about and support missions with activities such as the Lottie Moon Christmas Post Office.
Girls of Grace - A mother and daughter Bible study held once a year
Royal Ambassadors (RA-s) - First - fifth grade boys learn about and support missions through activities including campouts and derby car races.
Sons of Virtue - A father and son Bible study held once a year
M-Fuge - National and international mission opportunities for youth and adult sponsors
Women-s Missionary Union - Learns about and supports missions through monthly meetings and emphasis on special missions offerings
Adult Mission Trips - Trips are taken each year in other states and sometimes international through Vacation Bible Schools, construction work, backyard Bible clubs, etc.
Craftsmen for Christ - Men with experience and training in repair, building, etc. are asked to do work for church members; donations accepted for Mission Fund.
Ministry Mobilization Team - Helps members recognize their gifts and abilities and find places of service
WOMEN-S MINISTRY - Reaches women in our community with Bible studies, retreats and Conferences
Apples of Gold - mentoring Bible study for young women
MEN-S MINISTRY - Reaches men in our community with Bible studies, retreats and conferences
Handyman Ministry - Men help with small household repairs and yard work especially for widows, senior adults, and homebound members.
HOMEBOUND MINISTRY - Volunteers call, visit, and send cards to our homebound members and celebrates their birthdays with a special party.
GREETERS - Greets and directs visitors to their destinations and answers any questions
Parking Lot - Meets visitors as they arrive
Doors - Greets visitors at the entrances
Centers and Hall - Directs visitors from elevators
GROW - Four teams - G, R, O, and W teams - visit, make phone calls, and send cards on Sunday afternoons to recent guests at our worship services.
EXTENDED SESSION - Child care provided for newborns through three-year olds during Sunday morning and evening worship services
GO2FIRST - 4th through 6th graders from across the community are ministered to on the first Friday of each month. The purpose of Go2First is to feed the body and the soul, through food, fun and a biblical truth.
PARENT-S DAY OUT - Preschool child care program on Tuesday and Thursdays during the school year paid for by the parents
TRIPLE L - Senior adults meet the third Thursday of each month for an informative program and potluck meal. Several times each year they take short trips to senior adult conferences, retreats, musicals, plays, historic sites, etc.
HE-BREWS CAFE - Sponsored by the Adult 6 Sunday School department, profits from coffee sales on Sunday mornings used for mission and benevolence projects.
PRAYER ROOM MINISTRY - Volunteers give one hour a week in the Prayer Room to pray for specific needs called in to the Prayer Line and to send prayergrams to those requesting prayer.
EMPLOYMENT MINISTRY - Assist those looking for employment with resume, interview skills and basic job skills.
FELLOWSHIP SUPPERS - Volunteers help with drinks, desserts, and collecting money for Wednesday suppers during the school year.
DISASTER RELIEF - Many church members are certified disaster relief workers through the Tennessee Baptist Convention in the areas of food preparation, shower and laundry trailers, chain saws, and mud outs.
TOY STORE - We support the Bledose Baptist Association Toy Store with the use of our building and volunteers who help with setup, cleanup, and hostessing.
OFFICE VOLUNTEERS - Volunteers put wafer seals on our weekly newsletter and assist at other times (answering phones, etc.) as needed.
BACKPACK MINISTRY - Provides food through the weekend for children who receive free meals at Guild Elementary School.
Coordinator - Coordinates the needs with the school principal
Pick Up Team - Picks up food
Sorting Team - Sorts and packs food in backpacks
Distribution Team - Delivers backpacks to school or to students as needed
BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY
Coordinator - Notifies preparers and servers of deaths related to FBC members and their families and coordinates meals as needed
Food Preparers - Cooks and prepares meals as directed
Food Servers - Serves meals for families
SPORTSMEN-S MINISTRY - Sponsors annual Wild Game Dinner to reach sportsmen in the Community
JAIL MINISTRY - Ministers to those incarcerated in the local jail through Bible study and prayer

OUTSIDE MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
GALLATIN CARES
Store Volunteers - Organize donations to give to the needy or to sell and the profits are used to pay rent, utility bills, etc.
Panera Bread - Leftover bread is collected and bagged for Gallatin CARES to distribute to those in need in our community.
SALVUS CENTER - Volunteers help with office duties, cleaning, etc. as medical care is given to those without insurance
