Easter Sunday is the biggest day of the year for Christians. More people attend church on Easter than any other Sunday. This year First Baptist will have two services in the Sanctuary. Our Sanctuary worship services are an uplifting blend of hymns and songs in a familiar setting led by our Worship Pastor John Penfield.
2 Services in the Sanctuary – 8:30am & 11:00am
For anyone needing information about attending one of these services we have below some answers to common questions.
How do I get there?
We are one block east of the square at the corner of Main Street and Boyers Street.
What do I wear?
We are more concerned with you than your clothes. You can dress up or wear casual clothing, either way you will be accepted.
Where do I park?
First time guests may enter the parking lot on Boyers Street across from the main church building and find convenient guest parking. There is handicapped parking in the Boyers Street lot and in the lot behind the main building off of Smith Street. (see above map)
If weather permits lots designated in Red will be open.
When I get there, where do I go?
We have a building with entry points on three different floors. Our building has been built on to twice. It is sometimes a confusing building to navigate. There are greeters at the front doors, the Boyers Street door near the raised crosswalk, and the double glass doors in the back of the building. These greeters have maps and will assist you in finding the worship center or the class room you are seeking.
What is available for my kids?
Your children birth through fifth grade will enjoy a small group just for them during each of the Sunday morning worship services or Sunday School periods. They will have fun with other children their age studying age appropriate Bible stories, and participating in games and activities designed to help them learn truths from God’s Word led by loving, committed church volunteers.
