FBC Ministries for Adults

Sunday School

Christianity is a "one another" business. We are our brothers and sisters keepers. We share a responsibility to live in an authentic community with other believers. At First Baptist, this finds its concrete expression through our Sunday School. Every believer needs to be connected, cared for, and challenged to grow!

Sundays at 9:45am - Bible Studies Link

Discipleship Classes

Jesus' Disciples were the original Christ Followers. As modern day Christ followers we study, pray and share together in short term small groups striving to become mature disciples. Some groups meet at other times or on other days. Click the link below for a full list of the current and up coming Discipleship Groups.

FAQs

How do I get there?

We are one block east of the square at the corner of Main Street and Boyers Street. (map)

What do I wear?

We are more concerned with you than your clothes. You can dress up or wear casual clothing, either way you will be accepted.

Where do I park?

First time guests may enter the parking lot on Boyers Street across from the main church building and find convenient guest parking. There is handicapped parking in the Boyers Street lot and in the lot behind the main building off of Smith Street. (map)

When I get there, where do I go?

We have a building with entry points on three different floors. Our building has been built on to twice. It is sometimes a confusing building to navigate. There are greeters at the front doors, the Boyers Street door near the raised crosswalk, and the double glass doors in the back of the building. These greeters have maps and will assist you in finding the worship center or the class room you are seeking.

What is available for my kids?

Your children birth through fifth grade will enjoy a small group just for them during each of the Sunday morning worship services or Sunday School periods. They will have fun with other children their age studying age appropriate Bible stories, and participating in games and activities designed to help them learn truths from God?s Word led by loving, committed church volunteers.
